  1. Leader of the Islamic Revolution has issued a message to young people in Europe and America, urging discussions on the roots of terrorism. Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei says certain powers, including the US, have been supporting terror in the Muslim world. He said THAT could be seen in the West’s support for Israel.

  2. Israeli forces have killed another Palestinian in the occupied West Bank. The shooting took place in Ras al-Amud neighborhood, east of Jerusalem al-Quds. Israeli forces claim the young man was holding a petrol bomb. The total number of Palestinians killed since the beginning of October has now reached 107.

  3. Millions of Shia Muslims from across the globe are arriving in the Iraqi city of Karbala to commemorate Arba’een. The occasion marks forty days after the martyrdom anniversary of the third Shia Imam, Imam Hussein. Baghdad has tightened security ahead of the mourning rituals to be held on Thursday.

  4. Germany is planning to send 12-hundred soldiers to the Middle East by the end of the year to support the fight against Daesh. The plan, outlined by Germany's Chief of Defence Volker Wieker, needs parliament approval. German troops won’t be involved in the US-led coalition’s campaign in Syria.

  5. Thousands of people have attended the funeral of a lawyer and human rights defender who was shot dead in southeastern Turkey. The ceremony was held in the city of Diyarbakir where Tahir Elchi was gunned down. The leader of the main pro-Kurdish party has described Elchi’s death as a "planned assassination".

  6. European Union Leaders are set to sign an agreement with Turkey aimed at protecting the bloc’s external borders. The E-U wants Ankara to stem the flow of refugees into Europe in return for money and political concessions. Turkey will pledge to improve the refugees' lives and increase border patrols among other things.

  7. Police in the French capital fire teargas to disperse protesters who had gathered during Global Climate March. The protest was held despite a ban on public gatherings in the wake of Paris terror attacks. Over 200 people were arrested.
