1. Iran’s Foreign Minister says Tehran expects the IAEA's board of governors to announce the closure of Iran’s nuclear dossier. Mohammad Javad Zarif emphasized that the move is necessary for the implementation of the JCPOA. Zarif says Tehran has answered all of the questions posed by the IAEA.

2. Bahrain has summoned Iran’s envoy over remarks by Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei. Manama has accused Iran of interference in the kingdom’s internal affairs. In a recent speech, Ayatollah Khamenei slammed Bahrain's oppressive measures, saying the Bahrainis should have the right to choose their government.

3. Iran's Navy has officially received the domestically-made anti-ship cruise missile dubbed "Ghadir". The mass production of the high-precision missile has already begun. The long-range missile can be launched from air, land, and sea, and is immune to electronic warfare.

4. Israeli forces have shot and killed another Palestinian following an alleged stabbing attack in the occupied Jerusalem al-Quds. Israeli media say the Palestinian man was shot after he attacked an officer with a knife. Separately, an attacker has fled after carrying out a similar attack in Jerusalem al-Quds.

5. Saudi Arabia continues its military campaign against Yemen. The latest Saudi airstrikes have targeted Misrakh district in Ta’izz province, killing at least 12 women. Earlier, a dozen people lost their lives in the same province. Over 7,200 Yemenis have been killed since Riyadh launched its offensive in late March.

6. Millions of Shia Muslim pilgrims are marching towards the holy city of Karbala in Iraq to commemorate Arba’een. The occasion marks forty days after the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein, the third Shia Imam. Baghdad has tightened security to protect pilgrims against terrorist attacks ahead of Thursday's mourning rituals.

7. Environmental activists have staged a symbolic protest in the French capital after the government canceled a planned climate march for safety concerns. They placed thousands of pairs of shoes to symbolize people who planned to attend the rally. France has banned all public gatherings in Paris following the recent terror attacks.

8. Powerful storms have killed 14 people in the US states of Texas and Kansas. A number of others remain missing. Rescue teams have been deployed to save those trapped in flash floods. Heavy rains have also knocked down power lines in Oklahoma State, cutting electricity to thousands of customers.
