Iran conquers Norway 8-0 in Deaf Futsal World Cup

Iran men's national deaf futsal team has romped to another remarkable win at the 2015 Deaf Futsal World Cup in Thailand by defeating Norway.

On Tuesday, the audibly-challenged Iranian sportsmen overwhelmed the Scandinavian side 8-0 in a match played at the BYC-Keelavej 2 Stadium in the Thai capital city of Bangkok.

Iran men's national deaf futsal team is scheduled to face Russia in its last group stage game on Wednesday.

Iran is in Group B along with Algeria, Japan, Norway, Russia and Switzerland. Brazil, Italy, the Netherlands, Thailand and Uzbekistan form Group A. 

The 2015 Deaf Futsal World Cup started in Bangkok, Thailand, on November 20, 2015, and will finish on November 28.

Earlier in the day,  Iranian women's deaf futsal squad conceded a 3-5 defeat to world champion Brazil in a quarterfinal match.

The hearing-impaired female athletes will return to action on Wednesday, when they will play in a 5th-to-8th-place classification match.

The 2015 Deaf Futsal World Cup opened in Bangkok, Thailand, on November 20, and will wrap up on November 28.
