Ukraine reach Euro 2016 with 3-1 aggregate win over Slovenia

Beginning with football as Sweden have qualified for the Euro 2016 following a 2-all draw at Denmark that saw them win the play-off tie 4-3 on aggregate.

Meanwhile in another Euro 2016 play-off, Ukraine and Slovenia settled for a 1-all draw but it was the Ukrainians who sealed the tie with a 3-1 aggregate win to book their place in the European Championship next year.

Meanwhile, England have defeated France 2-nil in a friendly at the Wembley Stadium, thanks to goals from Dele Ali and Wayne Rooney.

In other news, a friendly football match between Germany and the Netherlands has been cancelled shortly before its kick-off over security concerns.

Over to tennis and the ATP World Tour Finals in London where Roger Federer has put an end to Novak Djokovic's 23-match unbeaten run, by seeing off the Serb in straight sets 7-5, 6-2 to secure a semi-final place at the tournament.
