Spain's Constitutional Court suspends Catalonia’s independence motion.

On Monday a resolution was passed in the Catalonian Parliament calling for legislation to formally begin the process of breaking away from Spain and creating separate institutions. Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy insists there will be no split and petitioned the constitutional court to have the resolution declared null and void.
