Syrian army breaks ISIL siege on Kowaires military base

  1. The Syrian army together with Lebanon’s Hezbollah fighters break the ISIL siege on Kowaires military base east of Aleppo.
  2. The European Commission says some of the British Prime Minister’s EU renegotiation objectives are “highly problematic”.
  3. And, Afghans in Ghazni province hold a protest rally against the killing of seven members of the Hazara ethnic group who lost their lives in clashes between rival Taliban groups.
  4. One more Palestinian has been killed and three others injured by Israeli forces in the occupied territories.
