Northern Afghanistan becoming another militant front

Afghanistan’s military is conducting an operation in northern areas of the country to combat the growing presence of Taliban militants and ISIL terrorists there. Experts believe the rising ISIL influence in that region could pose a strategic threat to neighboring countries in Central Asia and Russia.
