Tehran Intl. short Film Festival names 2015 jury members

The 32nd Tehran International Short Film Festival has announced jury members of its 2015 edition.

Andrzej Bednarek (Poland), Matthias Flugge (Germany), Seigo Tonodi (Japan) and Gipsy Chang (Hong Kong) and Alireza Shoja Noori (Iran) will judge the festival’s ‘International Main Competition’ and ‘Films against Violence and Extremism’ sections.

The two sections include documentaries, animations as well as experimental and fiction films from different countries, including Switzerland, Germany, the US, Italy, Taiwan, Austria, France and Norway.

David Bridie 'Delegate' (Australia), Electric Chair (Mexico), Pale Blue Dot (Singapore), The Harmony (France), Stress (Norway) and The Bravest, The Boldest (US) are among this year’s participants in the International Main Competition and Films against Violence and Extremism sections of the annual festival.

Organized by the Iranian Young Cinema Society (IYCS), Tehran International Short Film Festival is being held to provide an opportunity for young filmmakers to exchange their experiences.

The Iranian Youth Cinema Society produces some 1800 short films every year, many of which have been screened in international festivals.

The 32nd Tehran International Short Film Festival will run from November 11 to 17 in the Iranian capital.
