Ukraine’s ousted president Viktor Yanukovych has filed a lawsuit against Kiev over alleged violation of human rights. Yanukovych left Ukraine for Russia in February 20-14 after days of Western-backed unrest in the capital Kiev. A Ukrainian court in August began trying Yanukovych in absentia for his alleged role in the killing of protesters in Kiev’s main square in 20-14.
