Yemeni forces have reportedly killed a number of individuals, including troopers, cooperating with Saudi Arabia in its military aggression against Yemen.

The fatalities were caused during rocket attacks by the Yemeni army forces and allied Popular Committees against the Sahn al-Jin military base located in the oil-rich province of Ma’rib in west-central Yemen late on Thursday, Saba Net news agency reported on Friday.

The attacks also killed an unspecified number of loyalists to Yemen’s fugitive former President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi.

Yemen has been under military strikes on a daily basis since Saudi Arabia launched a military aggression against its southern neighbor on March 26, in a bid supposedly meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to Hadi, a staunch ally of Riyadh.

According to a new tally, the Saudi attacks have killed close to 7,000 Yemenis, including 1,986 children and 1,508 women, over 200 days.

The Yemeni Army and popular committees have been retaliating against the Saudi aggression by striking targets on Saudi soil.
