Growing social exclusion in France calls for new poverty metrics

A conference has been held in the French capital Paris on the needs to understand poverty as an important social phenomenon. Analysts say poverty must be addressed in details if it has to be eradicated. This comes as years of austerity measures across Europe have added to the number of the ones who are running out of money and have no permanent job.
