6 Saudi airstrikes targeted Sarawih district in Ma’rib

Egypt

Saudi Arabia pushes ahead with its relentless airstrikes in Yemen, further raising civilian casualties.

A civilian was killed and another person was injured in the latest wave of Saudi airstrikes that hit Ta'izz province. Elsewhere the attacks killed a child in Hudaydah province and at least six other Yemenis in Sa’ada province. Meanwhile, the UN aid chief has asked for a transparent investigation into Wednesday’s airstrike on a wedding in Yemen. Stephen O'Brien says he is deeply disturbed by the attack in Dhamar province that left over 50 civilians dead. Yemen blames Saudi Arabia for the attack. The Saudi war has so far claimed nearly 6,500 lives in Yemen and displaced one point five million Yemenis internally.
