1. Israeli forces have killed at least four, and wounded more than two dozen Palestinian protesters in the east of the besieged Gaza Strip. Hospital officials in Gaza said deadly clashes erupted when the Israeli troops opened fire on demonstrators who were taking part in a rally against Israeli aggression in the West Bank.

2. Palestinian Resistance Movement Hamas has called stabbing attacks against Israelis in the occupied territories a new intifada or uprising. The leader of the group Ismail Haniyeh called for the strengthening and increasing of the intifada, stressing that it is the only path that will lead to liberation.

3. Israeli forces have killed a Palestinian and wounded twenty others in the latest wave of violence in the occupied West Bank. Israel says the Palestinian had stabbed an Israeli officer. Protests are right now being held across the occupied territories over Israeli forces and settlers’ provocations in the al-Aqsa Mosque.

4. Israel re-imposes a ban on Palestinian men attending Friday prayers at the al-Aqsa Mosque. The entry of men under the age of 50 will not be allowed. On Thursday, a Palestinian protester was killed and over 100 others were injured in clashes with Israeli forces across the occupied West Bank.

5. A senior Iranian military advisor has been killed by the Daesh Takfiri terrorists in northern Syria. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps says Brigadier-general Hossein Hamadani died outside the city of Aleppo on Thursday. The exact circumstances of his death are still unknown.

6. Iran has reacted to the death of one of its senior military advisors in Syria. Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani says the ISIL will be wiped out as a revenge for killing Brigadier General Hossein Hamadani. Shamkhani said the fight against Daesh will be beefed up.

7. Guinea’s President Alpha Conde has rejected the opposition’s demand for postponing the upcoming elections. This came after angry protesters clashed with security forces in the capital Conakry. They want Conde to step down. Two people were killed and twenty others were injured in the violence.

8. The death toll from last week's massive mudslide in Guatemala has risen to nearly 240. 350 people are still missing despite the deployment of hundreds of rescue forces. The mudslide happened when a hillside loosened by heavy rains collapsed on the city of Santa Catarina Pinula.
