Russia says the US-led coalition fighting ISIL terrorists has not been efficient either in Syria or in Iraq.
A Russian Foreign Ministry official has said the territory ISIL, also known as Daesh, is controlling in Iraq has not shrunk as a result of the airstrikes by the US and its allies for over a year. He added that the number of terrorists has also grown. The Russian official referred to the situation in Syria, saying Moscow is ready to contact what he called the armed opposition in Syria if it agrees to cooperate with Damascus in the fight against ISIL.
