Spain, US boost military ties

US Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter concluded his visit to Spain this Tuesday. On Monday he met with Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy and his Spanish counterpart Morenés. They agreed on the addition of 3-thousand US soldiers, 4 destroyers and 21 aircraft to the military base in Seville, putting US military presence in Spain at its highest in recent years.
