Hillary Clinton using family foundation for presidential campaign: Journalist

Leading US Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is incapable of defeating her Republican rivals in the 2016 presidential election, an investigative journalist in Florida says.

Hillary Clinton, the leading US presidential candidate from the Democratic Party, is losing ground to her Democratic rivals and is incapable of defeating her Republican opponents in the 2016 presidential election, an investigative journalist in Florida says.

“The Democratic Party’s stalwarts see Hillary as damaged good, not able to win in a general election against any Republican, particularly Donald Trump, who continues to surge in the Republican Party,” said Wayne Madsen, an author and columnist specializing in intelligence and international affairs.

“Hillary is basically hemorrhaging campaign support from her wealthy donors and I would expect to see that continue, especially if and when [US Vice President] Joe Biden enters the race, then more and more people will stop contributing to Ms. Clinton,” Madsen said during a phone interview with Press TV on Thursday.

Clinton’s support among US voters has seen a sharp drop following her email scandal. She used a private email server in her home to conduct official State Department business during her time as US secretary of state.

The investigative journalist said Clinton used the private server to pressure people from the US and abroad to donate to the Clinton Foundation in order to boost her presidential campaign.

“It’s widely assumed by many people that the Clinton Foundation is nothing more than a cash cow to propel Hillary Clinton into the presidency and has very little to do with rebuilding homes for Haitians left homeless by the Haitian earthquake or [helping] people in Africa and other poverty stricken countries around the world,” Madsen said.

The Clinton Foundation was established in 2001 by former US President Bill Clinton as a humanitarian foundation. Its stated mission is improving global health and wellness, creating economic opportunity and growth and reducing childhood obesity and preventable diseases around the world.
