Daesh terrorists execute 25 Iraqi soldiers in Mosul
The Daesh Takfiri terrorists have executed 25 members of Iraq’s police and army in the embattled northern city of Mosul, which has been under the control of the militants since June 2014.
Citing Kurdish Iraqi authorities, media reports said on Wednesday that five of those killed by Daesh were security officers.
Gruesome violence has plagued the northern and western parts of Iraq ever since the Takfiri group launched an offensive in the summer of 2014, and took control of swathes of Iraqi territory.
The militants have been committing vicious crimes against all ethnic and religious communities in Iraq, including Shias, Sunnis, Kurds, Christians and others.
In a separate development, Iraqi police sources said their forces have killed 12 Daesh militants in eastern part of Ramadi, a city located about 123 kilometers (76 miles) west of the capital, Baghdad.

In addition, five senior members of the Takfiri group were killed in the Iraqi army’s airstrikes against Daesh positions in the city of Hit, in the restive western province of Anbar.
On September 20, another 20 senior leaders of the terrorist group were killed in an aerial bombardment carried out by Iraq’s air force in the same province.
Five vehicles of the group, loaded with heavy weapons, were also destroyed in another airstrike launched by Iraqi fighter jets near the town of Husaybah, which lies about seven kilometers (4.5 miles) east of Ramadi.
Units of Iraq’s army soldiers joined by volunteer fighters are seeking to win back militant-held regions in joint operations.
