Why Israel, Capitol against JCPOA?

The UN Security Council has unanimously endorsed a draft resolution on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action inked between Tehran and the P5+1 nations.

The UN Security Council has unanimously adopted a draft resolution on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) signed between Tehran and the P5+1 nations.

The understanding with the US, Britain, France, China, Russia and Germany, limits Iran’s nuclear program in exchange for the removal of sanctions. It had received strong praise around the globe. However, the leading pro-Israel lobby group, the "American Israel Public Affairs Committee" known as AIPAC, has allocated tens of millions of dollars to a campaign to encourage Congress to block the agreement between Iran and the world powers.  

US Defense Secretary Ashton Carter has visited Israel, and the Obama administration has been selling the accord to allies in the Middle East, as well as to a skeptical Congress. But it is clear the Israel lobby is exerting great pressure on American politicians to reject the nuclear settlement.
