Back in 1993, the Palestine Liberation Organization signed a set of agreements with Israel, known as the Oslo Accords. The agreements were meant to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and to guarantee the Palestinians’ right of self-determination. Over 20 years on, Palestinians are pinning their hope on the creation of an independent Palestinian state. Our Gaza correspondent, Ashraf Shannon, explains how Israel has taken any possible measure to undermine the Palestinian dream for sovereignty.
