Three Iranian productions are set to compete at the 2015 edition of China’s Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival.

Narges Abyar’s ‘Track 143,’ Hamid-Reza Qorbani’s ‘Three Fish’ and Fayyaz Mousavi’s ‘Story of My Father's Bike and Me’ will take part in the international competition section of the annual event.

‘Track 143’ is a screen adaptation of Abyar’s novel titled ‘The Third Eye’ that narrates a story of a woman during the 1980-1988 Iraq-Iran war.

The 2013 drama premiered at the 32nd Fajr International Film Festival and won the Iranian event’s Crystal Simorgh Audience Award.

‘Three Fish’ and ‘Story of My Father's Bike and Me’ are also among the successful productions of the Iranian cinema, which have been screened in several national festivals.

The Hundred Flowers Film Festival and China Golden Rooster Film Festival  were unified into one national film festival in 1992.

Known as China's top film gala, the annual Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival is organized by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and China Film Association.

The 24th Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival will be held in the city of Jilin from September 16 to 19.

Some 120 films will take part in this year's festival. Panel discussions and forums will also be held on the sidelines of the event, with the participation of more than 2,000 renowned and promising filmmakers from around the world.
