Iraq beefs up security in southern border regions with Saudi Arabia

A high-level Iraqi delegation has paid a visit to the country’s southern border regions with Saudi Arabia, where Riyadh has built a 900-kilometer fence. Baghdad, skeptical of its southern neighbor’s seriousness in fight against terrorism, is trying to beef up its military presence in the region to deter terrorists from entering its soil.
