War hawks panic as Obama gets 34th commitment on Iran agreement: Ex-CIA contractor
As US President Barack Obama has secured the 34th Senate vote needed to sustain a veto of any congressional resolution disapproving the Iran nuclear agreement, the Israel lobby-funded Republican war hawks are panicking, a former CIA and NSA contractor says.
Steven D Kelley made the remarks in an interview with Press TV while commenting on a statement by Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio, who said on Wednesday that if he becomes the US president, he will strike down the Iran nuclear agreement and reimpose sanctions against the Islamic Republic on his first day in the White House.
Rubio’s comments came shortly after Democratic Senator Barbara Mikulski announced that she would support the nuclear deal reached between Iran and the P5+1 group of countries – the US, Britain, France, Russia, China, and Germany – in Vienna in July.
Democrats need 34 votes in the Senate, or 146 in the House of Representatives, to sustain the veto President Obama has promised. Mikulski’s announcement means Democrats will now have enough votes to protect the nuclear agreement in Congress.
“Florida Republican Senator Marc Rubio's statement that he would trash the nuclear deal with Iran, and impose harsh sanctions on day one, if he is elected to president, shows how by using Rothschild money, you can get idiots to say anything,” Kelley said.
“Now that there are the necessary 34 votes to veto an override, the Zionist lobby-funded war hawks are going into a panic,” he added.
“We are being told that we have given the Islamic Republic billions of dollars that they will immediately be spent on terrorism, never mind that this money was theirs first, and that we stole it, only now having to give it back,” the analyst noted.
“They scream that we have put America in danger, yet ignore the hundreds of illegal nuclear bombs in Israel today pointed at all Western capitals. Only the brain dead or complicit still thinks that 9/11 was not an inside job false flag attack on the USA by Mossad,” he stated.
“The enemy of the world is the Rothschilds and until they are removed, the genocide will continue and eventually consume us all,” Kelley concluded.
