10-year jail terms for 2 US, Israel spies in Iran

A court in Iran has sentenced two people to 10 years behind bars each over espionage charges, Judiciary Spokesman Gholam Hossein Mohseni-Ejei says.

The Revolutionary Court handed down a 10-year prison term to each of the individuals who were convicted of spying for Israel and US, Mohseni-Ejei said in a press conference in Tehran on Sunday.

The Iranian official did not elaborate on the details of the case and the identity of the convicts.
