‘Time to love’ by Iranian filmmaker Alireza Raisian is set to be screened in different countries across Europe and North America.

Cinema-enthusiasts will get the chance to watch the feature-length production with English subtitles in the UK, Germany and Sweden.

‘Time to love’ will also travel to the US, where it will be screened in Washington, Chicago and New York. The Canadian city of Toronto will be the other host of Raisian’s award-winning production.

The film depicts the complexities of a couple’s relationship caused by the unwanted pregnancy of the wife.

‘Time to love’ received the Cristal Simorgh award for Best Screenplay at Iran's 33rd Fajr International Film Festival. It also won the event’s Best Actor prize for its lead actor Shahab Hosseini.

Raisian’s 2014 production is believed by some to be the most popular non-comic film after the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

Born in 1995, Alireza Raisian is an acclaimed Iranian film director, producer and screenwriter whose films have won numerous prestigious awards.

The Deserted Station, Reyhaneh and The Journey are among Raisian’s better-known works.
