Pro-reform protests continue to sweep through Iraqi cities

Another Friday and another wave of pro-reform protests sweeping through Iraqi cities: This week’s rallies were the largest so far following calls by senior Shia Cleric Muqtada al-Sadr on his followers for a million-man participation in the Friday demonstrations. This is while the representative of Iraq’s supreme religious authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Sistani, warned of attempts to hijack the demonstrations. Our correspondent Altaf Ahmad brings us the details in her report from Baghdad.
