Russian serviceman kills self after slaying 2 soldiers, officer
A Russian serviceman has taken his own life after killing an officer and two soldiers, according to the Defense Ministry press service.
The gunfire happened in a military field camp in Russia’s Kostroma Region on Wednesday, TASS news agency reported.
Two other soldiers are reported injured in the shootout.
Results of an initial investigation said the shooter was guided by personal motives.
In its statement, Russia’s Defense Ministry said the soldier used an automatic weapon. It added that the injured military men are receiving all medical assistance they need.
