Compatibility of science and Islam

Islam has always viewed religion and science as having a deep-rooted relationship.

In the Western world, many say science has dealt a death blow to religion; however, in Islam this couldn’t be further from the truth.

Not only were science and Islam compatible, but religion could even spur scientific innovation. Accurately, calculating the beginning of Ramadan (determined by the sighting of the new moon) motivated astronomers.

The Quran is full of scientific revelations. In this episode, we explore the compatibility of Islam and science.
