Israeli president admits that Tel Aviv has not done enough to combat what he called Jewish terrorism

Amid growing International condemnation of Israeli settlers’ deadly arson attack, Israeli officials have resorted to damage control tactics, addressing it as a terrorist act.

Israeli president Reuven Rivlin described the attack as shameful. He admitted that Tel Aviv has not done enough to combat what he called Jewish terrorism. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also condemned the arson attack as a heinous act of terror. Netanyahu and Rivlin, both visited the victims of the arson attack at the hospital. The deadly attack also prompted harsh criticism from U-S Jewish groups. Representatives of a number of groups said in a joint statement that Israeli authorities’ condemnations are not enough. They urged Israel to prosecute perpetrators of hate crimes. Israeli pres. admits Tel Aviv has not done enough to combat “Jewish terrorism”
