Press TV has conducted an interview with Mark Glenn, a political commentator from Idaho, to get his take on a recent terrorist attack by Israeli settlers who burned to death an infant boy in the West Bank.

The following is a rough transcription of the interview.

Press TV: Damage control tactics are being employed now by Israel to save face, with Netanyahu visiting the family of the deceased toddler, but it seems it's under pressure by the international community to who have called this an act of terror. Can Israel ever be able to save face?

Glenn: Well, it is point, I don’t think, that Israel can, but not necessarily just because of what took place with the burning to death of this very little boy, but rather because of the fact that the world is slowly ... now coming out of its trance that it has been in now since the end of World War II because of the internet because of increased awareness and quite frankly because of very successful media outlets such as Press TV. Israel is no longer able to sweep than such as this under the rug and put people back to sleep. So, I do believe that the spell is wearing off, people are beginning to realize that there’s a serious problem with these people. And not just with regards to the Palestinians. This is a worldwide problem, which took place with this very little boy. Substantively, what is the difference between that and the fact that as your newscaster mentioned earlier in the report that 2000 Palestinians were incinerated exactly in the same manner last year with this exercising human sacrifice that took place on the part of Israel. You had people in Israel out of streets celebrating. You had one Israeli woman writing on her facebook page that she received ratification on Palestinian children were being butchered. So, I do believe this spell is wearing off; however, the fact of the matter is that also puts the world in very danger. In a sense that when Israel finds herself cornered like this, being the very dangerous rather she is, she lashes out in ways that have implications far beyond the Middle East.

Press TV: It's also been admitted by Israel that this act was an act of “Jewish terrorism.” Most of the Western countries are also calling it by what it should be called, that is, an act of terrorism. Do you see this a welcome development by itself? And so, how positive is this international awareness as you’ve mentioned, is this, in a sense that it could pave the way for Israel to be brought to justice for its crimes against Palestinians?

Glenn: I think that this is very important. You have to understand that the terrorists, the murderers who burned this little boy to death that they were operating under the presets of what their religion teaches, what regards to power ...
