At least three people have been killed in Yemen as Saudi Arabia keeps bombarding the impoverished Arab country incessantly.

According to the latest media reports on Thursday, at least two Yemeni civilians were killed in the Saudi airstrikes on the western province of Dhamar.

A Yemeni individual was also killed and several others were injured in the Saudi airstrikes on the district of Haydan in the northwestern province of Sa’ada.

Saudi warplanes also pounded the district of Kitaf wa Al Boqe'e in Sa’ada dozens of times. There is still no report on the possible casualties of the air raids.

In retaliation for the deadly Saudi airstrikes, Yemeni army forces and fighters belonging to the Ansarullah movement launched rocket attacks on Saudi military barracks in the southwestern province of Najran.

According to a military source in the Yemeni Defense Ministry, the Yemeni army targeted on Thursday an operations room for militants loyal to the fugitive former president, Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, in the district of Tawahi in the southwestern province of Aden, killing several militants, including officers from the United Arab Emirates.

Saudi Arabia launched its military aggression against Yemen on March 26 without a UN mandate in a bid to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and to restore power to Hadi, a staunch ally of Riyadh.

Rupert Colville, the spokesman for the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, said on July 21 that at least 1,693 civilians had been killed and 3,829 others injured in the Arab country since March 26. However, local sources say over 4,500 people have lost their lives in the Saudi onslaught.
