1.       Iran and the P5+1 group of countries continue negotiations over Tehran’s nuclear program in Vienna.

2.       Israeli media say Tel Aviv is preparing for the next phase of its opposition to Iran's nuclear deal. Israel is reportedly set to lobby the US Congress to block the deal once it's finalized.

3.       Greece says it's willing to return to the negotiating table but that creditors must now address the question of easing the country’s debt.

4.       Greece’s Finance Minister says he's resigning despite the government’s victory in securing a no-vote in the decisive bailout referendum.

5.       Egypt's new anti-terror law allows authorities to jail journalists for reporting any information on terrorist attacks that contradicts official statements.

6.       At least 63 militants have been killed in the Egyptian army’s operations in North Sinai. The attacks took place in villages between the towns of Sheikh Zuwied and Rafah.

7.       Several people have been killed and wounded in the latest Saudi airstrikes in Yemen’s southern Lahij province.

8.       At least three people have been killed in a fresh US drone attack in Afghanistan’s eastern province of Nangarhar.
