Combo image, from a screen grab of Yemeni TV station al-Masirah, shows explosion of a Saudi tank in the kingdom’s southwestern region of Jizan following a rocket attack by Yemeni forces on July 5, 2015.

Yemeni forces have destroyed a Saudi tank during a rocket attack on a military base in the southwestern region of Jizan.

Yemeni forces also carried out separate attacks on a Saudi army base and an administrative headquarters in kingdom’s southwestern Najran region and a base in Dhahran Aljanoub, south of the 'Asir region.

Yemen’s Ansarullah fighters supported by allied forces carried out the retaliatory attack early on Monday.

Meanwhile, two civilians were killed after Saudi jets bombed targets in the northwestern Yemeni province of Sa’ada.

At least seven civilians were also killed after Saudi jets attacked residential area in the city of Mualla in the southwestern Aden province.

Earlier, Saudi jets bombed the headquarters of the party of Yemeni former president Ali Abdullah Saleh as well as the country’s Republican Guard Academy in the capital city Sana’a.

One civilian also died following multiple Saudi strikes against the southwestern Ta’izz province.

The Saudis also launched an airstrike against a military base in Yemen’s western Hudaydah province, leaving one dead and several more wounded.

According to local Yemeni sources, over 4,500 people have been killed since Riyadh launched its military campaign against Yemen on March 26.

Saudi Arabia’s attacks on its impoverished neighbor are carried out without authorization from the United Nations and regardless of international calls for the halting of the onslaught.
