  1. Saudi warplanes have launched fresh airstrikes on Yemen as more civilians fall victim to Riyadh’s military campaign. The latest attacks targeted the capital Sana’a. There are no immediate reports of casualties. Fighter jets also pounded a school in Sa’ada province, leaving several civilians dead.
  2. Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and US Secretary of State John Kerry resume talks on a comprehensive nuclear deal. A major issue in the negotiations is the lifting of anti-Iran sanctions. Tehran says all economic restrictions must be eliminated on the very day a deal is signed with the P-Five-Plus-One group.

  3. Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras says Greeks are determined to decide their own destiny and that no one can ignore their resolve. He made the comments after casting his vote in a referendum on bailout proposals offered by the country's international creditors. Athens has urged people to vote No.

  4. Newly-revealed documents show that the US, Britain and France were behind the 1995 Srebrenica massacre. They show that Washington had urged UN troops to pull back from safe areas of the town, while Paris and London agreed. The support was offered as Serb leaders had pledged to uproot Muslims there.

  5. U-S drone attacks have killed at least 13 people in eastern Afghanistan. The airstrikes took place in Kunar and Nangarhar provinces. Afghan officials say the victims were Taliban militants including a commander. The Taliban have yet to comment on the attacks.

  6. US airstrikes kill at least six civilians, including a child, in northern Syria. The so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says the attacks aimed to target the ISIL terrorists in the city of Raqa. Sixteen terrorists were also reportedly killed during the raids.

  7. A new study shows that the number of young homeless people in the UK is more than three times the government figures. Government figures exclude homeless people who don't meet the narrow criteria for homelessness which would force councils to help them.

  8. Japan has joined a joint military exercise held by the US and Australia. The biennial drills will be running for two weeks in Australia’s Northern Territory and Queensland state with nearly 31-thoudand troops practicing in operations at sea, in the air and on land. The exercise comes amid territorial tensions with China.
