Chris Kyle: A killing machine or an American war hero

American Sniper

It has been more than a year since Clint Eastwood’s movie “American Sniper” was first screened in the United States.

So far the film has grossed over 500 million dollars, a sign of widespread popularity among the audience.

“American Sniper” portrays Kyle as a patriot, ethical gentleman and a family loving husband; however, taking a glance at his real character would raise many disturbing questions.

But how is it possible that someone with all these flaws in his personality can become one of the most heroic characters in the history of the US military in Clint Eastwood’s movie?
