Nahalin :No way out
The villages of Nahalin and Foukin Valley are surrounded on all sides by the Beitar Alit settlement bloc to the point there are difficulties entering and exiting the village.
Nahalin and Foukin Valley are villages west of the Palestinian city of Bethlehem.
Their situation being near the green line, part of the border that Israel drew between the West Bank and the rest of historical Palestine, puts them at the forefront of settlement expansion and Israeli policies.
Being in the middle of the Beitar Alit settlement bloc, the people and farmers of the villages face constant settler attacks, land grabs and Israeli military raids.
This is in addition to the spillage of sewage onto their lands as well as dynamite explosions used to expand the surrounding settlements.
