Press TV has conducted an interview with Richard Becker, with the ANSWER Coalition in San Francisco, and Jim Walsh, a research associate with the MIT in Boston, to discuss the possibility of a nuclear deal between Iran and P5+1 group of countries.
Becker believes that the excessive demands of the Western countries, and especially the United States, are the main stumbling blocks in the path of a nuclear accord with Iran.
He says that the sanctions imposed on Iran are essentially instances of economic warfare, which, despite the American politicians’ reluctance, should be lifted immediately on the first day of a potential nuclear deal with Tehran.
Meanwhile, Walsh believes that the negotiating sides have managed to solve many differences during the recent weeks and now they are more likely than ever to reach a comprehensive agreement.
