  1. Head of Ansarullah delegation Hamza Houthi says the group’s demands have not been met at the UN-sponsored peace talks between Yemen's warring factions in Geneva. Houthi says that's the reason for the negotiations’ failure. At the talks, Ansarullah had demanded a permanent ceasefire and an end to the Saudi siege of Yemen.
  2. Saudi Arabia’s latest attacks on Yemen’s northern city of Sa’ada have killed at least ten civilians. Explosions rocked the capital Sana’a, the southern city of Aden and the provinces of Lahij and Jawf, as well. Saudi attacks also left casualties among members of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement.
  3. The United Nations has appealed for 1-point-6 billion dollars to help people in war-torn Yemen. UN officials warned of a QUOTE looming catastrophe. They said the money is needed to help 21 million people in urgent need of basic supplies until the end of 20-15.
  4. Saudi Arabia is reportedly planning to build up to 16 nuclear reactors under Russia’s supervision. Saudi media say Russian President Vladimir Putin and Saudi Arabian Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman struck a nuclear accord in St. Petersburg on Friday. No further details have been made public.
  5. Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned that global decisions like the 2002 US withdrawal from the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty are pushing the world towards a new Cold War. Putin also accused Washington of seeking to impose its standards and decisions on Moscow.
  6. The suspect behind a deadly Church shooting in Charleston, South Carolina has for the first time appeared in court. The 21-year-old Dylann Strom Roof is charged with nine counts of murder and illegal possession of a firearm. The shooting happened on Thursday in Emanuel A-M-E church which hosts mainly African Americans.
  7. In the occupied West Bank, one Israeli has died and another has been wounded in a shooting incident. Israeli soldiers are present in the scene to search for the assailant. Israeli media say that the shooting was a suspected terror attack.
  8. The Syrian army, backed by Lebanon's Hezbollah fighters has fended off attacks by Nusra Front militants in three strategic hills in Idlib countryside. The allied forces also killed a number of militants and destroyed their vehicles. Syrian army has managed to inflict heavy losses on foreign-backed militants over the past months.
