CIA admission of failure in so-called anti-ISIL mission

By its own admission, America is losing the so-called war against terror. CIA Director John Brennan has stated publicly that the US cannot defeat ISIL in Iraq and Syria militarily.

That’s a big statement. As recently as September 2014, US President Barack Obama announced an open-ended aerial military campaign to “degrade and ultimately destroy” the ISIL forces in Iraq and Syria, with the help of many allies. His plan has evidently failed, and there have always been doubts about America’s true motives in this campaign.

After all, it was the CIA who maliciously trained large numbers of militants in 2012 in Jordan to fight the Syrian government before unleashing them to wreak havoc elsewhere in the Middle East.
