Yemeni army hits Saudi air base in Asir region with scud missile
Yemeni forces have opened fresh retaliatory fire on Saudi forces in border areas. According to Yemeni media, the army has targeted King Khalid air base in the city of Khamis Mushait in the Asir region with a scud missile.
The army and popular forces also attacked the Jabal al-Dukhan region in Jizan, killing and wounding several Saudi soldiers. Earlier, four Saudi soldiers were killed in a retaliatory attack by Yemen’s Ansarullah fighters and their allied armed forces in Jizan. Yemeni fighters have stepped up their retaliatory attacks against Saudi military bases and camps in border areas in recent weeks. Dozens of Saudis have been killed in the attacks.
