Many still remember those times when there were heated debates about austerity measures and George Osborne famously announcing, “We are all in this together.”

Today, the statistics show that all Britons are indeed contributing to the economy – even drug dealers and prostitutes. For the first time in British history, the office for national statistics has measured the economic value sex work and drug dealing bring to the national economy, declaring that they boosted the national economy by £9.7bn. That is equal to the same contribution as farming!

This episode also focuses on the United Kingdom’s political outlook in near future. While Cameron’s 2015 election victory was almost entirely unexpected, as the euphoria dissipates, the obstacles in his path are coming into focus. The British prime minister is about to face 2 tricky obstacles: the Scotland question and the promised EU referendum. As he seeks to deal with the Scottish lion and slay the EU dragon, chances of matters getting complicated and intense are very high.
