Eastern Partnership summit overshadowed by Ukraine crisis

The two-day summit of Eastern European partnership has ended in the Latvian capital Riga amid reports that fresh fighting in eastern Ukraine killed three soldiers. At the end of the summit, it was decided that Ukraine will receive 1.8 billion Euros of aid from the EU, but will get no membership prospects in the union for now.
