British Prime Minister David Cameron is attempting to put a gloss on new statistics showing the government is falling short of its own targets on immigration. Statistics from the Office for National Statistics show net long-term migration into Britain surged to roughly 318-thousand in 20-14, up from 209-thousand the year before, that’s one of the largest increases recorded. Critics are warning Cameron not to demonize migrants, despite the new tough rhetoric.
