Iran wins AFC U-14 opener against Tajikistan
Iran has snatched a victory over the home side Tajikistan in their opening match of the Asian Federation Confederation U-14 Championship in the Tajik capital, Dushanbe.
The visiting Iranian juniors extracted a 3-2 win over the host on Friday.
Grouped with Tajikistan, India and Sari Lanka, the Iranian team is scheduled to take on Sri Lanka on Saturday.
According to the fixtures, Tajikistan will array against India tomorrow.
Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Nepal are competing in another group.
