A Palestinian organization has published a new report shedding further light on the Israeli atrocities committed against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank in April.

In the report, published on Thursday, the Wadi Hilweh Information Center in Silwan said that Israeli soldiers killed one teen and kidnapped 120 Palestinians in al-Quds (Jerusalem) in April.

According to the report, Israeli troops shot and killed 16-year-oil Ali Saeed Abu Ghannam on April 25 when he was trying to cross a military roadblock in the city.

“Israel held the body of the slain teen, and tried to place preconditions by attempting to force the family to pay a high fine, and limit the number of [the] Palestinian[s] who would participate in the funeral ceremony, but the family refused the Israeli demands,” the report said.

The information center, which is known as Silwanic, said that scores of Palestinians were also shot and injured by Israeli forces in April.

The report added that 14 women and 40 children were among the 140 Palestinians kidnapped by Israeli forces in different neighborhoods of al-Quds (Jerusalem), including Silwan, at-Tour, al-Eesawiyya, Sheikh Jarrah and Jabal al-Mokabber.

Silwanic also said that Israelis demolished two structures and handed several families demolition notices of their houses and structures in different parts of al-Quds.

It said Israeli forces carried out dozens of invasions into the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque targeting Muslim worshippers.

“Israeli groups, accompanied by the police, carried out dozens of invasions into the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and conducted repeated violations and attacks against Muslim worshipers, while the police kidnapped and interrogated many Palestinians, including women and children,” the report said.

Observers say the revelations are only the tip of the iceberg regarding Israeli atrocities against Palestinians in the occupied land.

In recent months, Israeli forces have frequently raided the houses of Palestinians in the West Bank, arresting dozens of people, who are then transferred to Israeli prisons, where they are kept without charge.

There have also been many reports about the deteriorating health of Palestinian prisoners held inside Israeli jails.

More than 7,000 Palestinians are reportedly held in 17 Israeli prisons and detention camps. Moreover, 540 Palestinians are held without any trial under the so-called administrative detention, which is a sort of imprisonment without trial or charge that allows Israel to incarcerate Palestinians for up to six months. The detention order can be renewed for indefinite periods of time.
