1. A team of archaeologists has found several stone-building materials near an underwater shipwreck in the South China Sea. About 3-hundred stone relics are estimated to be buried under water, most of which are believed to have been used as construction or ornamental materials in ancient houses, temples or ancestral halls. The stones are found in different shapes, such as pillars, statues, and slates. The research team is trying to study the pieces to find out more. The archaeologists began their explorations to excavate a shipwreck near Shanhu Island in mid-April.

2. In the U-S state of California, motor-lovers have been given a treat with a showcase of classic automobiles from around the world. The 6th Annual Concours d'Elegance in Beverly Hills displays 160 cars from 15 classes. The vehicles are from various eras and manufacturers and were all made before 1975. Visitors of this rare showcase have the opportunity to see vintage American and European models, muscle cars, sports cars, and convertibles.

3. Check out at what happens when amateur racers try to jump over a line of cars in a contest in the UK. Remember, don’t try this by yourself! Competitors had to try and drive their car over a row of cars in the hope of winning the title. They key was to hit the ramp at full speed. But not everyone managed to gather enough speed to soar across the row of cars. The only person who was able to do it was Ruben Neves. Ruben was a first-time competitor and he perfectly cleared nine vehicles in his old purple car.

4. Brazilian artists have come up with an innovative way to attract the attention of art-lovers from around the globe. The artists have replicated several well-known sculptures using Styrofoam. The replicas are on display in Rio's Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro. The interesting point about the exhibition is that visitors have the chance to see the artists saw, slice, and drill the giant blocks of Styrofoam to create their works. The exhibition has been open to public for about a month and will continue until mid-July.

5.  More than a thousand years ago, when men strapped themselves into full-body suits of armor and hit each other with swords, it was war. Today, it's entertainment. Well, at least that was the case at the Medieval Fighting World Championships in Poland. Over 500 competitors from 26 different countries took part in this four days event at Malbork Castle. To start off, participants have to put on full protective armor. Then, they use actual weapons like swords, axes and spears to try to land as many hits on their opponents as possible. The aim is to get the opposite team to the floor. And the team with the most people left standing when time is called wins the day. The U-S team had dominated last year's championships in Spain. But this year, it was the host nation who came back really strong to win the title in style.

6. It is always nice to see a cute little animal wandering around in urban areas. Now, let’s watch an adventurous Koala bear strolling in an Australian hospital. Security cameras at the hospital’s emergency department in Victoria State captured a surprising visitor. The koala bear walked for a few minutes through the automatic doors late at night before it could find the way out. The adorable adventurer was nicknamed "Blinky Bill", after a popular character in a children’s book. Koalas are native to Australia and are mainly found in coastal areas of the mainland's eastern and southern regions.
