1. The Yemeni army and popular committees have countered a large-scale naval attack by Saudi Arabia on the port city of Aden.

2. Yemen’s al-Masira TV channel says scores of civilians have been killed and many others injured in fresh Saudi airstrikes in the southwest.

3. At least 2 UN peacekeepers have been injured in the occupied Golan Heights after mortar shells fired from Syria hit their base.

4. A bomb attack has hit a bus carrying staff members of the Afghan attorney general’s office in Kabul. At least one person has been killed and 15 others have been injured.

5. Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif says drafting the final deal between Iran and P-5-plus-one-group of countries is moving forward despite many remaining brackets.

6. The death toll from a devastating earthquake which hit Nepal last month has now reached seven-thousand two-hundred and-76.

7. Greek officials say Athens and its international lenders have made some headway toward an agreement over reforms to secure the bailout aid by the end of this month.

8. A report by Australia’s national broadcaster ABC has revealed that foreigners working on temporary visas in the country are routinely underpaid, abused, harassed and assaulted.
