Boycotting Israel attracting US power elite: American intelligence expert

An increasing number of American students are now joining the BDS movement, refusing to sell off stock since January with student governments at some universities taking divestment votes.

US students and faculty members who have started the campaign of Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) against Israel at the New York University have “certainly attracted the attention of the power elite that would seek to put pressure” to end the movement, an intelligence specialist in Anaheim, California says.

Steven D. Kelley, a former CIA/NSA contractor, made the remarks in an interview with Press TV on Wednesday while commenting the growing boycott movement against Israel by university students in the United States.

“Certainly, this seems to be a reflection of what’s going on in the United States in a large way, but obviously, the power elite controlling the elite have certainly fully entrenched in the pocket of the Zionist lobby AIPAC as well as the control of the Israeli regime,” Kelley said.

“This seems to be cheating as far as the population by and large is concerned, but then we look at our leaders as we head into this coming election and we see so much positioning amongst members of both parties,” he added.

“Hilary Clinton, Marc Rubio, ect., ect., even Rand Paul are selling themselves completely to Israel,” he noted.

BDS movement growing

An increasing number of American students are now joining the BDS movement, refusing to sell off stock since January with student governments at some universities taking divestment votes.

The American Studies Association has also announced a decision to boycott Israeli institutions and academics over the discriminatory treatment of Palestinians. Israelis are frustrated in the face of the boycott campaign.

“Obviously, there is a complete [detachment] with the reality with the true feelings of people here in the United States. Obviously, this is a large problem because we see the pressure from the American regime to try to increase sanctions on Iran, on Russia to threaten war on both of these countries, even China,” Kelley said.

He added that “we are getting close to the end and it would appear that the Zionist controllers can see that the time is very limited, that they will have to affect the drastic world domination plans that they have.”

“So clearly, these are very dangerous times. We all need to work very hard to do everything we can to prevent world war three from starting. And obviously this is exactly what these people intend to do here in the United States,” he stated.

Jade Helm military maneuvers

Kelly also mentioned the so-called Jade Helm military drills which has caused a lot of buzz across the US due to its size and magnitude, leaving many suspicious of the actual intentions of the military scenarios being announced by US government officials.

“Now, we have the Jade Helm exercises that will be going on until the end of the year which have very ominous, perhaps reasons and it would appear that either this exercise, which is taking place over most of the southwest of the United States, has a precursor to absolute martial law and imprisonment of many American citizens and it is possible it is also being used as a training exercise for a mass invasion of the entire Middle East, including Iran,” he explained.

Kelly concluded that “these are very dangerous times. We all need to work very hard to try to thwart this, to try to stall and end these ambitions and, God willing, we will be successful and the Zionists and the Nazis, the satanic regimes will come to an end.”

Boycott campaign threatens Israel

Top American Jewish leader say the growing international campaign to boycott Israel over illegal settlements is one of Tel Aviv’s greatest challenges.

"We have to counter the BDS movement in the strongest possible way," Malcolm Hoenlein, executive vice chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, said recently.

Israel has faced the widening boycott campaign by some European businesses over its illegal settlement activities on the occupied Palestinian land.

Two of Europe’s biggest financial institutions have boycotted transactions with Israeli companies involved in the settlement construction.

The European Union has also blocked all grants and funding to any Israeli entity based in the illegal settlements.
