1. Nearly 40 Yemeni civilians have been killed as Saudi warplanes bombed a weapons depot controlled by Ansarullah in the west of Sana’a. Saudi fighter jets also hit the city of Rzeh in Sa'ada province. Eight civilians were severely injured in the airstrikes there.

2. The Iraqi army has made major gains against ISIL in the restive Anbar province. They've also managed to bring the central district of the strategic city of Ramadi under their full control. ISIL terrorists have been making inroads near the city since last week.

3. Iran's President Hassan Rouhani says the era of intervention of big powers in other countries' internal affairs has come to an end. He stressed that Iran unequivocally rejects such meddling. Rouhani made the remarks in a meeting with the Venezuelan foreign minister in Tehran.

4. Hundred of former Walmart employees have marched in Los Angeles after the company unexpectedly shut down several stores in four U-S states. The closures have left thousands of people without jobs. The retail giant has laid off over two-thousand employees in California, Texas, and Oklahoma.

5. Protestors gathered outside the police headquarters in the US city of Balitmore to demonstrate against the death of a black suspect in police custody. Maryland officials vowed to conduct an investigation. The incident occurred amid nationwide public uproar over a series of deaths the hands of US police

7. 28 survivors of a migrant ship, which capsized off the Libyan coast, have arrived in Italy. The boat overturned while carrying hundreds of migrants en route to Italy from Libya on Sunday. Italian officials say over 950 are presumed dead in the tragedy. Rescue operations for more survivors are underway.

8. Spain's embassy in the Libya's capital Tripoli has come under ISIL attack, which caused no injuries. The Takfiri terrorist group carried out similar attacks on the embassies of South Korea and Morocco a few days ago. Libya has further descended into chaos after several militant groups pledged allegiance to ISIL.

9. An Argentine prosecutor has dismissed accusations leveled against President Cristina Kirchner over the 1994 deadly bombing at a Jewish community center in Buenos Aires. The criminal complaint formulated by slain AMIA prosecutor Alberto Nisman accused Kirchner and other officials of covering up the identities of those responsible for the deadly bombing.
