No clean victory in sight for Saudi Arabia in Yemen: Analyst

Press TV has conducted an interview with Lawrence Davidson, a professor at the West Chester University, in Pennsylvania, to get his view on Saudi Arabia’s aggression against Yemen.

Davidson says the Saudi attacks against non-military targets in Yemen prove that the Saudi kingdom and its allies do not know where to go from here and think the next step for them is to mount a ground invasion of Yemen.

He says that the aggressors are not able to reach a clean and quick victory in impoverished Yemen, which neighbors Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia has created chaos in Yemen, and the situation provided al-Qaeda with the opportunity to thrive in the impoverished country, but Washington goes along with the Saudis’ strategy in Yemen.
