Press TV has conducted an interview with Hafsa Kara Mustafa, a journalist and political analyst in London, and Lawrence J. Korb, a US foreign policy analyst in Washington, to discuss the Saudi aggression against Yemen and the US role in this respect.

Kara Mustafa says, “Saudi Arabia is clearly intent on dividing the Muslim and Arab world. It’s been instrumental in dividing and adding fuel to the Syrian flames and now we’re seeing them do the same.”

“The US is an accomplice to Saudi Arabia,” she says, noting that the US has been supporting Saudi Arabia in fostering and fueling the flames of division across the Muslim world.”

The analyst also goes on to say, “We’ve actually witnessed a strong US presence in Yemen and I think their involvement, the depth of their involvement is obviously becoming more apparent as this ongoing attack continues.”

Korb, for his part, says fugitive former Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi asked the US and Saudi Arabia to intervene in Yemen.
